Sundays

Our Sunday starts with tea, toast and chat . Then, the meeting commences with worship, prayer and a sermon from the Bible. We usually work through a book of the Bible.

We meet in The Oaks Academy Main Hall at 10:45 for an 11am service.

What about my Kids?

Hope Tots

0 – 4 year olds

There is a creche for pre-school children and babies with toys and books where we look at God’s love for us in songs, stories and craft.

Hope Kids

5 – 11 Year olds

Hope Kids join us for part of the Sunday meeting, and then leave to have their own teaching time in a nearby classroom. The kids enjoy worshipping together, playing games and learning the Bible in creative ways.

Hope Youth

Youth 11-18 year olds

Youth of High School age (years 7-13) join us for part of the Sunday meeting, and then often leave during the sermon for their own teaching and discussion.

1:30 We meet regularly for a shared Church Lunch at our building Hope Church Central. If you’re coming for the first time, there’s no need to bring anything.

Prayer

We believe prayer is vital in our personal relationship with God and corporate church life.

We have two morning prayer times a week, and a Wednesday prayer session at 12 at Hope Church Central, which focuses on praying for the town. This is open to believers from all churches.

Fortnightly on Wednesday evenings we have a church prayer meeting at Hope Church Central at 7:30. This alternates with home groups.

Home Groups

Home groups take place every fortnight, alternating with prayer, on a Wednesday evening at 7:45. In these smaller groups we seek to apply the Sunday message to our lives by discussion and prayer and to support one another in our daily lives.

Kids Parties

Hope Kids meet every Sunday during the service. We also have regular kids parties throughout the year where we have lots of fun, food, games, craft and stories from God’s word. These are open to church and non-church kids.

11- 18 year olds

Youth

Youth of High School age (years 7-13) meet every Friday night from 6.45-8:30 at Hope Church Central. The evening contains craft, cooking, games, worship, teaching, discussion and fun!
