We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Hope Church a great one!
When and where?
Hope Church meets every Sunday at 10.30 am at The Myrtle Building (former TA Drill Hall). We’re delighted to welcome new visitors.
What to expect?
Our Sunday starts with tea, toast and a chat before the service starts at 10.30. In total, a Hope Church meeting is about an hour and a half. The meeting begins with the Hope Church band leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected onto a screen so you can sing along or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. There is a open time to pray and share stories of what God has been doing in the Church. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.
Our Culture
Hope Church has a relaxed, casual, family feel. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. If you’ve come on one of our church lunch Sundays, you will be warmly invited to join us for the shared meal after the meeting if you’d like to stay.
