Welcome to Hope Church!

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Hope Church a great one!

When and where?

Hope Church meets every weekend 10.45 am on Sunday at The Oaks Academy Main Hall.  We’re delighted to welcome new visitors.

There’s no need to book, and we currently have a socially-distanced section for those that want it

What to expect?

Our Sunday starts with tea, toast and a chat at 10.45.  In total, a Hope Church meeting is about an hour and a half. The meeting begins with the Hope Church band leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. There is a open time to pray and share stories of what God has been doing in the Church .  After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.

Our Culture

Hope Church has a relaxed, casual and family feel.  Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.  You will be invited to join us for a shared lunch after the meeting at our hub Hope Church Central, Derrington Avenue.

What about my Kids?

We consider the children and youth’s journey with God as a crucial part of the Church development.

0 – 4 years old

There is a creche for pre-school children and babies with toys and books where we look at God’s love for us in songs, stories and craft

5-11 Year olds

Hope Kids join us for part of the Sunday meeting, and then leave to have their own teaching time in a nearby classroom. The kids enjoy worshipping together, playing games and learning the Bible in creative ways.

11 – 16  Year olds

Youth of High School age (years 7-13) join us for part of the Sunday meeting, and then often leave during the sermon for their own teaching and discussion.

We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday!
